About BAMM

Bay Area Mobility Management (BAMM) is an association that aims to educate global mobility professionals and help them improve in their business. They also encourage networking, as they know the importance of making connections and doing great teamwork to improve the industry.

Their slogan says it all: “Educating, Elevating, and Connecting the Bay Area Mobility Community”.

You can be a member to help with their mission come to life. Choose between the Corporate Membership and the Supplier Membership. Each one has different benefits, but one that they share is having access to content and presentations specifically for you. Memberships last one year, starting January 1st up until December 31st. Good news is you can renew!

If you prefer, you can also be a sponsor. You can be a Keystone Community Supporter and get many different benefits. Such as your logo on the sponsorship directory, a “LinkedIn sponsor highlight” and, of course, the summer soiree, among others.

Or choose to be the Mission Community Supporter and get benefits as well. Like your logo on the BAMM sponsors’ page and the use of BAMM’s logo on your marketing materials.

Time: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm PT
Location: Campo di Bocce at 565 University Ave, Los Gatos CA 95032

The BAMM Summer Soiree is an event just for BAMM’s corporate and keystone sponsors.

Those corporate members who are planning on attending the event, can bring any person from their mobility team they want. Keystone sponsors who plan to attend, can bring one person per organization. Keynote sponsors must remember that they “will need a promo code to register for the event”. The code will be sent by email by BAMM’s sponsorship director.

There’s already an agenda planned for you. 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm will be the perfect networking time, plus there will be a message by the president.

The “Best Practices for VIP Moves” session will take place from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm. After that, from 6:15 pm to 6:30 pm, there will be a corporate raffle.

To end the event in a great mood, there will be a “Bocce & Happy Hour” from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

The “Best Practices for VIP Moves” talk will be about some of the most laborious and difficult relocations mobility teams have to deal with. These are called the VIP relocations, because they are from high profile professionals, like executives.

Through these sessions, you’ll learn “white-glove service options” and “guidance to help us react quickly when things go wrong”. You’ll go home knowing how to best manage this kind of relocation.

You won’t have to buy anything to participate in the raffle. The gifts will be varied, from wine to tickets to events. So, don’t miss it!

You can register now.

What’s One of the Best Skills to Handle High-Profile Relocations? Fluency Corp Tells You!

Like we just learned thanks to this amazing event, VIP relocations are incredibly important but can also be difficult. These clients want the best professionals to help them move.

That’s why you need all your mobility employees to have the best skills for the job. But what’s that one skill that could impress your clients and convince them that your company can handle the job well? Second language skills!

Knowing another language will allow you to take bilingual meetings, get international business partners on board with your company, and reach new markets.

Most importantly, the foreign employees you’re helping move to their new place of residence will feel comfortable with you. This is because you’ll communicate in their native language or at least a language they know well.

If you’re ready to take your company to the next level, Fluency Corp helps you become truly fluent in your language of choice. We offer corporate language training with our native teachers.

Every lesson is customized to the job and your needs. So, you and your employees will actually use everything you learn. No wasted knowledge.

We’ll also make sure you have speaking time. So you can practice your accent, pronunciation and fluency in every class.

If you have any questions, set up a free consultation by contacting us at getfluent@fluencycorp.com or (800) 401-3159.
