There’s also the Professional membership, which requires different qualifications, such as having been an HR manager for a minimum of 3 years. Then, there’s a Resource Provider membership. As the name indicates, to qualify for this you must work in companies that provide products and services to HR professionals.
Or if you are someone studying something related to HR, you can choose the Student membership. Don’t forget to check all the requirements of all the memberships before you buy one.
As a member, you’ll receive different benefits. Among those are discounts for the conferences, additional access to HR resources, and free webinars where you can qualify for SHRM and HRCI credits.
Spring 2023 SHRM-CP/SCP Certification Prep Course

They define their certifications as “the only behavioral competency-based programs in the field”. Why get this certification? It speaks highly of you! It indicates that you care about your education and about improving as an HR professional to become a leader in the industry.
This course is specifically built to prepare you to pass the exam. What better way to get a SHRM certification than the Mile High SHRM prep course!
You’ll have a certified SHRM instructor as your guide all the time. This person will be qualified to answer all your questions, give you tips for the exam, help you during discussions, and more.
You’ll also be able to network with fellow HR alumni and employees. This will be of huge help, as you can discuss the lessons, ideas, and situations you’ve experienced. Sharing your knowledge will make you all grow together.
They also offer affordable programs, so you could possibly have a student discount or funding option.
They tell students to expect high-quality instruction, and what they call “time commitment”. This means you’ll attend classes “on a 3 week schedule”. This will give you enough time during the week to study what you’ve learned, wwhile still being able to take care of your home and work responsibilities. You can expect a well-structured learning plan, with the support you need to keep studying and learning.
Once you register, you’ll get access to the SHRM Learning System. This is an interactive system that works as the official cert prep tool. It has a roadmap with HR material and situations from real life that will prepare you for the exam and for your job.
You’ll also go through some practice exams. Don’t be nervous, though. This will be most helpful as it will be a guide to what you’ll actually face in the test. The cost of the final exam is not included in this course.
You can register up until the starting day, which is March, 25th, 2023. For members, it costs $1,095 and for non-members it is $1,395.
If you can’t attend this one, don’t worry. They also offer a course in the fall, with dates yet to be determined.
