About Mile High SHRM

Mile High Society for Human Resource Management (Mile High SHRM) was founded in1938 to help professionals in everything Human Resources related. Ever since, they’ve grown to over a thousand members. All of which work together to educate about HR and improve both professionals and the industry.

Mile High SHRM has their very own certification. Their certifications “[…] are the only behavioral competency-based programs in the field. This makes it a great addition to your business skills and your resume. The best of it all is that they also have a certification prep course, so you have better chances at passing the exam.

In that course, there will be a SHRM-certified instructor ready to guide you through the course and answer every doubt you might have. So, don’t be afraid of asking, we’re all learning there. You’ll also be asked some “[…] sample test questions…” to prepare you better for the exam. You’ll be given the SHRM Learning System, which is an interactive system “that combines in-depth HR knowledge with real-life situations…” It comes with the registration. There are two courses in the year: one in Spring and one in Fall. So, don’t miss it!

Oh, and you can be a member too! If you want a Mile High SHRM membership, you’ll also have to get a National SHRM membership. They come together, so when you purchase one, you’ll get the other as well. This means you’ll have a Dual Membership and therefore, you’ll get benefits from both organizations. Some of the benefits for being a member are personalized content and discounts for events. As well as access to HR resources, a subscription to online library Zywave, and more.
